Nanao Kimono: Content Creation
In June 2024, I joined the creative team at Nanao Kimono, a Japanese lifestyle shop located in Kensington, Calgary. As a digital content creator, I work on producing and editing content to promote various products on the shop's social media platforms. Other responsibilities include copywriting for social media posts and occasionally providing art direction for photo and video shoots.

Video Content
I regularly create video content to showcase new and popular products the shop carries. Video is shot on my phone using a combination of live and stop motion techniques, and edited in Adobe Premier and After Effects.
Photography
I also occasionally shoot lifestyle photos of featured products for use on our social media platforms. I choose fitting locations and model the items when necessary.

Since mid June, I have been in charge of posting regularly on Nanao Kimono's social media platforms. I also write all the copy for post captions and story content. Check out some of our recent posts:
